1. All Sales Are Final — Statutory Waiver of the 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

"Montenegro Insider Travel Guide" is a digital product (downloadable PDF and EPUB files) that is not supplied on a tangible medium. Upon completing your purchase via our checkout partner Gumroad, access to download the complete digital files is granted immediately.

Because digital files cannot be physically returned once downloaded, all sales are final and non-refundable ("No Refunds").

EU & Slovak Consumer Law Notice: Under Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on Consumer Rights and Section 19(1)(m) of the Slovak Consumer Protection Act No. 108/2024 Coll. (Zákon č. 108/2024 Z. z. o ochrane spotrebiteľa), the statutory 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason does not apply to contracts for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium once performance (providing the download link / downloading the file) has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent and acknowledgment that they thereby lose the right of withdrawal. By completing your purchase and accessing the instant digital download on Gumroad, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge the loss of the 14-day right of withdrawal.

That is why we provide an official 11-page PDF sample of "Montenegro Insider Travel Guide" for free direct download on montenegrotravel.guide (without requiring registration or an email address).

The free sample includes the full Table of Contents, the author’s introduction, regional breakdowns, and real sample pages from the 2026 edition. We strongly encourage you to review the free 11-page sample prior to purchasing, as we do not issue refunds for change of mind, cancelled flights or trips, or subjective dissatisfaction after the full book has been downloaded.

3. Complimentary Author Email Support & Bonus Materials

The 4-page local phrasebook is included directly inside the digital publication. The 1-on-1 email Q&A with author Ivan Semenov is provided strictly as a voluntary, complimentary gift from the author (as detailed in Section 4 of our Terms & Conditions) rather than a paid service contract. Accordingly, it carries no separate monetary value and cannot serve as grounds for a partial or full refund of the digital book.

4. Statutory Remedies for Technical Defects & Duplicate Charges

Our no-refund policy for change of mind does not affect your mandatory statutory rights regarding defective digital content under Directive (EU) 2019/770 and Slovak Act No. 108/2024 Coll.:

• Corrupted File or Download Problems: If you do not receive your Gumroad receipt link, or if your PDF/EPUB file fails to download or open properly, please write to us at [email protected] or via the Contact Form below with the email address used at checkout. We will promptly send a fresh, verified working copy of the PDF/EPUB files directly to your email.
• Refund Exceptions (Unresolvable Technical Defect or Duplicate Charge): If a technical defect in the digital file itself cannot be remedied by providing a working replacement file within a reasonable time, or if you were accidentally billed twice for the same purchase (duplicate transaction), we will issue a full refund of the affected charge via Gumroad.
• Mandatory Local Consumer Protections: Nothing in this policy overrides non-waivable statutory consumer rights enforced by Gumroad as Merchant of Record in specific non-EU jurisdictions (such as the mandatory 7-day withdrawal right under Article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code for consumers in Brazil).
